You receive wonderful, wonderful news. What’s the first thing you do?
Super depuper fantastic fantastic news, what is that actually? What’s so incredibly wonderful about calling right away?
Don’t call me
What should I do first when I receive fantastic news? Call my husband! If he weren’t there, of course. Normally I would call my mother right away, but he recently passed away, so that takes some getting used to.
Other than that, I don’t think I would call anyone, because I’m not a caller. So I really don’t like that at all. I’m more of an app person. Just short and sweet and they can read it when it suits them. And respond when it suits him. If I need an immediate answer, I would call after my app. But first an app.
I’m also definitely not into voice messages. I find that so annoying. If only because I can see how much longer I have to listen to it. Send an app. But hey, everyone is different. Fortunately, otherwise it would be quite boring here on earth.
What kind of news?
What actually constitutes fantastic news? If I won the lottery, I think I would keep my mouth shut. I’m not participating at all, because I wouldn’t even want to win it. I much prefer doing things with my own money. It would be fantastic news that my father and stepfather would get better again, but unfortunately that is impossible. For the rest, I wouldn’t know what would fall under fantastic, super, great news.
Won tickets to an amusement park this week, which I thought was fun. But not call-worthy. Maybe if I won a complete trip, I would be completely crazy. And yet I prefer to save it myself. No, I really don’t need anything extra.
