What’s your favorite drink?
My favorite drink is definitely tea. I really enjoy hot fresh tea. And preferably a large pot of fresh herbs.
Fresh tea
Have fun messing around with an unbleached tea bag and then look for a nice fresh tea. I have several jars of dried herbs. My spice jars always make me very happy. When I stand in a store with all kinds of different herbs, I love it. I can hardly choose which one I will take. Usually I just take a lot.
Fresh herbs are also very tasty. For example, in my garden I have mint, lavender and sage. In the summer I just add a few leaves to my boiled water and you’re done. Isn’t it delicious!
Ok, every now and then a special flavor in a regular bag is nice to taste, or for lack of something better.
I once also did a tea (and chocolate) tasting, super fun. See here.
I must honestly admit that I used to not like tea at all. I still don’t drink it very strong. Just let it steep for a while, not too long. I’m not a fan of very dark tea. Some teas are very dark, but then I just leave the herbs in for a short time.
Nice and warm
I find tea a solution to relieve the cold. I feel nice and warm inside and I can warm my hands on the cup. It also always makes me wonderfully relaxed. You can’t drink tea in a hurry. Especially not me, because I can’t stand boiling hot tea. I always add a lot of cold water to make it drinkable.
On a freezing day after skating or playing in the snow, enjoy a nice cup of hot chocolate, or of course hot fresh tea. Enjoy a moment.
