She is already an old lady, almost 17 years old. Old & grumpy, but also really my cuddly cat. Every day she lies on my lap, my stove.
Writing assignment #38
My assistant
At the moment I write this blog, she is of course lying on my lap, grunting loudly. If you look at one of my weekly’s, you will probably see plenty of photos of her. This lady is my assistant every day, because she lies on my lap the entire working day and regularly looks at my screen. In the morning she is already sitting in front of my office door waiting for me to go to work and sit down. Especially in winter it is wonderful to have her on my lap, because she is really my little heater because she has such a lovely warm winter coat. Sometimes it is difficult that she lies on my lap all day, because I have to make sure I have enough food and drink around me. If I get up to go to the toilet, she can react very grumpily. But usually she lies down on my office chair and as soon as I come back, she gets up nicely. She also lays close to me on the bed, really my cuddly cat. I love that!
Kitten Whiskey
I got her as a little kitten, together with her brother => Baco & Whiskey. At first they liked each other, but once they were both helped, the male hated the female. He wasn’t exactly gentle with her, I always thought that was so sad. He was small and black and she is big and white, and yet he was the boss of the house. Unfortunately he was only 10 years old. Unfortunately, this was not the case for Whiskey, because since then she has completely blossomed. Baco always decided what happened, so he lay next to us in bed, she was banished to the end of the bed, if she was lucky. She has always been a scaredy cat, I already saw that in the shelter. Still, I was attracted to her. She still doesn’t really want to be petted by anyone, or even let them come near her. She is my cat and only wants me. With great exception, she sometimes lies next to my husband in bed until I get there, then she lies next to me again. Nice and quirky stuff. Really, it’s just my cat. ?
