It is currently winter coat time. Love that nice thick fur coat on my cat. I’m jealous of such a nice warm winter coat.
Writing assignment #17
Winter
In winter my cat (Whiskey) is very fat, at least according to my daughters. In winter it is indeed extra fluffy and feels silky soft. Really not normally so soft, delicious! She is also (almost) completely white, which makes her look like a small polar bear. In winter she really holds her hair well, because she hardly sheds. No idea why she needs such a thick winter coat, because she hardly ever goes outside anymore, especially not in winter. She is over 16 years old and lies on my lap all day long. Delicious! I’m always cold, so I have my personal heater.
Combing
In the summer, on the other hand, she sheds like crazy. I have a special comb and she loves it. As soon as she sees the comb, she starts purring loudly. Every time a tennis ball of hair comes off, even if I do it again the next day. And this is also reflected in our clothing. Black clothing in particular is not an option. We have clothes rollers everywhere, so that we don’t go out with a white fur coat ourselves. And she likes to lie in the towels and laundry basket, preferably the clean ones of course. When we dry off, we have to be careful not to grab a hairy towel. So I always try to make sure she can’t get in, but that sometimes fails. And she also likes clean clothes. She regularly lies in my husband’s wardrobe at night. He has already completely barricaded it, but she still manages to get in. So there’s a special sweater there that he doesn’t wear.
For such an old lady, she still looks great. Beautiful shiny coat, beautiful thick head of hair.
