Time for a new recipe: banana bread. The last three times it failed, but I had never made this variant before. Although I did tweak it here and there.
Ingredients
- 3 overripe bananas
- 2 tablespoons 100% peanut butter
- 120 ml milk
- 200 grams whole wheat flour
- 1 egg
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
For extra taste:
- Vanilla extract
- Cinnamon
- Nuts
- Chocolate chips
- Raisins
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 185 degrees Celsius.
- Mash the bananas in a large bowl.
- Add the peanut butter, milk, egg, oil, vanilla extract, and cinnamon. Mix well.
- Add the whole wheat flour and baking powder and mix until smooth.
- Pour the batter into a greased baking tin.
- Bake the banana bread for about 45 minutes in the preheated oven, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
Optionally, you can add raisins, nuts, or chocolate chips to the batter for extra flavor.
